I’ve never updated this blog much but I do have another blog that I update weekly! Over at http://www.angryap.com is where I post about Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Including scans of my collection of vintage Disney theme park merchandise and pictures!
E3 is the greatest show on earth! This was my ninth E3 and by far the worst one I have ever been to. I didn’t take many pictures because I didn’t stay long. Enjoy!
I’ve been an arcade machine collector for a little over 10 years now. My first machine was a Jaleco Pony Mark III with a NeoGeo 2 slot inside but after about six months I sold it. After that I purchased the centerpiece of my collection, Beatmania Complete Mix 2 (which was updated to Beatmania THE FINAL last year). In this video I show my current arcade machine collection.
Current collection as of April 2011:
NFL Blitz/NBA Showtime – 4 player woodie cabinet
Sega New Astro City – 2 player candy cabinet with MAME and Hyperspin
Megatouch MAXX Ruby 2 – Touch screen game
Beatmania THE FINAL – 5 Key Beatmania cabinet
All of my pictures from Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 can be found on my Flickr page:
I’m back from an amazing vacation with my best friends. Rather than capturing a ton of photographs like I did last year I decided to take video and edit a video trip report. This is the result. Enjoy!
Be sure to watch part 1 and 2 and in HD!
Update: For my photo trip report visit my post on the Mice Chat forums!

I’ve always been a fan of Jin Saotome’s custom action figures but this one takes the cake. It’s Mecha Theodore Roosevelt from Jin’s custom line called “WWII Alternate History.” He even comes with a giant bazooka. If you’ve never seen the custom toys he makes and sells on ebay you need to check them out.
Disney Parks Blog made it official today, Captain EO returns February 23.
On Tuesday, February 23, as a tribute to the magic, music and messages of “Captain EO,” the 3-D musical adventure is returning to the Tomorrowland theater in which it debuted. While it’s not possible to replicate some special effects elements from the original presentation, it will boast a new 70mm print of the film, and it will sound better than ever thanks to acoustic enhancements made to the theater since the film last played there in 1997.
Captain EO is one of those Disneyland attractions that is polarizing with long time visitors. The 80′s babies, such as myself, consider it one of the most defining things about going to Disneyland in the 80′s and 90′s. The older visitors don’t like it at all and think it never had and still doesn’t have a place in Disneyland. I’m guessing that there are more people than not that are excited about EO’s return. Tuesday is going to be a very busy day at Disneyland and I will be there with my camera to document the whole thing.

I just posted up new photos over at Level 99. This is the first in a series called “L99 Photography Phalooza” that I will add from time to time. This set of photos is on Rainy Day Disneyland. Take a look!
If you died today would you be happy with your life? Six months ago I was about to go on a trip and I asked myself that same question. My answer, at the time, was no. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been taking some time to reinvent myself mentally and now I find that I am a more positive, happy, peaceful, and grateful person. Along with that my relationship with my girlfriend of 10 years is stronger than ever, I’m closer to my closest friends, and I’m much more appreciative on my many blessings. These last six months will be a drop of water in the grand scheme of things, but it’s funny how much change can take place in a relatively short amount of time IF you are willing to change. As I sat in the airport yesterday (this time I was about to return from an unexpected trip) I asked myself the same question. This time my answer is yes, I am very happy with my life. Thank God for my blessings, I will never take them for granted again.
Pepsi Throwback and Mountain Dew Throwback were so popular when Pepsi Co. released them early last year that they brought back both flavors! Fans of natural sugar were clawing each others eyes out to get the sweet nectar during the original release, so if you see it in stores now be sure to buy a case or two. Soda made with real sugar is delicious!
